Afriex app

Afriex is a money app used by over 500,000 people across 30+ countries to send and receive money, hold virtual accounts and cards, and build credit. I lead product design across the whole app.

I’m sharing two select flows here. They are Credit Builder and the virtual card. The rest of the work stays confidential.

Credit Builder is for users in the US who want to build a credit history from the transactions they already make. It costs $5 a month, and the activity is reported to help them establish and grow their credit profile.

Signing up confirms the details we already hold, adds a debit card and verifies it with a small charge. Once the subscription is active, the credit score sits on the wallet screen, and the Credit Builder page tracks the progress.

The virtual card is for users in Africa who need a USD card to pay online. Creating one costs a one-time $5 fee, paid from the USD wallet.

The card details stay hidden until you tap the eye, and each one can be copied on its own. Freezing, deleting and the card’s transaction history sit under More.
